Become a Pazia Shades Authorized Dealer

We currently welcome two types of trade partners:

Showroom / Retail Dealer

Ideal for businesses with an established storefront, showroom, studio, office, or retail operation that sells window coverings, home furnishings, interior products, or related services.

Examples may include:

• Window-covering retailers
• Blind and shade stores
• Interior design studios
• Home furnishing stores
• Flooring and home-improvement businesses
• Drapery and curtain retailers
• Kitchen, bath, and remodeling showrooms
• Commercial interior suppliers

Contractor + Installer

For established businesses or professional dealers that sell Pazia Shades products and also provide measuring and/or installation services to their customers.

Dealer-installers are responsible for maintaining all applicable licenses, insurance, permits, and other qualifications required for the services they perform.

Applicants should be prepared to provide the following information and documentation.

1. Business Information

Applicants must provide:

• Legal business name
• DBA or trade name, if applicable
• Business structure, such as sole proprietorship, LLC, corporation, or partnership
• Business address
• Mailing address, if different
• Primary business phone number
• Business email address
• Website and/or professional social media page, if available
• Owner, principal, or authorized representative
• Number of years in business
• Primary service area
• Type of customers served: residential, commercial, or both

2. Business Verification

Depending on the business structure and location, applicants may be asked to provide:

• EIN or applicable Tax Identification Number
• Completed Form W-9
• Business license, where applicable
• State business registration, where applicable
• DBA/Fictitious Business Name documentation, where applicable
• Seller's permit or equivalent state registration
• Other documentation reasonably required to verify the business

For California businesses that sell tangible personal property, a California seller's permit is generally required unless an exception applies.

Resale Documentation

Dealers purchasing Pazia Shades products for resale without paying sales tax at the wholesale transaction level must provide appropriate resale documentation.

California Dealers

California applicants purchasing products for resale should provide:

• Valid California Seller's Permit Number, when required
• Completed California Resale Certificate

Pazia Shades may verify seller's permit information before approving resale-tax treatment.

California allows purchasers engaged in the business of selling tangible personal property to issue resale certificates for qualifying purchases they intend to resell.

A valid resale certificate generally identifies the purchaser, seller's permit information or applicable explanation, the property being purchased, and states that the property is being purchased for resale.

Applicants may use the California CDTFA-230 General Resale Certificate where appropriate.

Dealers Outside California

Dealers located outside California may be required to provide the appropriate resale certificate, seller's permit, sales-tax registration, or exemption documentation applicable to their state.

Dealers that provide professional measuring or installation services may be required to submit additional documentation.

Contractor Licensing

Applicants must maintain any contractor license required by the state or local jurisdiction in which installation services are performed.

For California applicants, window-covering installation falls within the CSLB D-52 Window Coverings Contractor classification, which includes installation of products such as shutters, blinds, draperies, screens, and other window treatments.

California contractor licensing requirements can apply depending on factors including project value, permit requirements, and use of additional workers.

Where applicable, Pazia Shades may request:

• CSLB contractor license number
• Contractor classification
• License expiration date
• Verification that the license is active and in good standing

Insurance

Dealer + Installer applicants may be required to provide:

• Certificate of General Liability Insurance
• Workers' Compensation coverage, when required by law
• Other insurance appropriate to the services being performed

Pazia Shades may establish minimum insurance limits as part of dealer approval.

All Dealers

Before beginning your application, please prepare:

• Business legal name
• DBA, if applicable
• Business address
• Business email and telephone number
• Owner or authorized representative information
• EIN or Tax ID
• Form W-9
• Seller's permit, where applicable
• Resale certificate, where applicable
• Business license, where applicable
• Business website or professional social media page, if available

Dealer + Installers

In addition to the above:

• Contractor license information, where required
• General Liability Insurance
• Workers' Compensation documentation, when applicable
• Description of installation services
• Primary service territory

Submission of an application does not automatically guarantee acceptance into the Pazia Shades Authorized Dealer Program.

Applications may be reviewed based on:

• Business legitimacy and verification
• Applicable licenses and registrations
• Product and market fit
• Service territory
• Professional experience
• Ability to properly represent Pazia Shades products
• Compliance with program requirements

Pazia Shades reserves the right to request additional information before approving an application.

Once approved, authorized dealers may receive access to applicable program resources such as:

• Product catalogs
• Fabric and material selections
• Product samples
• Measurement resources
• Product specifications
• Quotation support
• Ordering assistance
• Marketing materials
• Technical and product support
